You may wonder why we need a class pet well here are some amazing reasons that you must believe .

Firstly a pet for this school would be great because it would probably make kids want to come to school more and it would make kids look forward to school in the morning .

Secondly the s.p.c.a has so many cats and kittens right now fun but sad fact the s.p.c.a has at least 38 cats and kittens waiting for adoption so if we get a pet for each class then there would be only be 27 pets left at the spca and then they wouldn’t be so busy having to look after all the cats and kittens .

And finally we might become a more popular school because of all the animals that we have in our school and each week someone from each class would have a job that they would have to give it new food , water and bedding .

So there are great reasons why we need to have a class from a more popular school to helping the spca and kids wanting to come to school .

Waves washed over the rusty rails,  my coat swayed madly in the rough wind,  this is harder than I thought . suddenly a gigantic wave flys over the boat knocking half my crew overboard , I hear their screams as they hit the deep turquoise sea. “ but I didn’t have time to worry about my crew I had to make sure that this mission was complete,” I said quietly. From oamaru to a tropical island ,  I had to dump fifty cats and sail home as I sailed the water was still really rough ,  I dumped the cats and made it home safely .

hello there to whoever is reading this blog today   i am going to  tell you what my number 1 class room would look like …

1. 1. first of all it would be sooooo tidy there would be not a  spot of dirt on the ground .
   2. second we would be really arty and fun and only do a little bit of work but there would be artwork all on the walls it would be very colourful .
   3. we would play lots of fun games  inside and outside to  and there would sometimes even have free time to do anything but it would have to be exciting but if you were not having fun then you would have to do boring school work like a math sheet while everyone else did  fun stuff
   4. and finally you didn’t have to wear a uniform you  could wear whatever you like .

and there are the thing that my class room would look like see you next blog bye .🐈

Now ,  you may wonder why not keep james hargest  is so fun well here are some reasons we should stop the social some people don’t like to get outside , it is really competitive and some times people get hurt or injured.

1.  Some people can not go to the disco like if your in the quiz or the dodgeball team  you can not go and I think it is just not fair there still in a team though right .

1.  Some kids get angry or annoyed that they did not win so it can cause a sort of fight . 

1.   And some people want billets but they can not  because there are none left to have so they feel a bit sad or annoyed.

1. And finally you try out for a sport but you don’t make it in so  you feel a bit irritated or agitated . 

and there are some reasons why  not keep the james hargest exchange disco , no billets , not winning and not getting chosen to be in a sport .

Do you ever wonder how we hear  

Well here you go . there are three parts of the ear only 3  , the outer ear , the middle ear and the inner ear .

First up you have the outer ear . the outer ear is called the Pinna or auricle . it acts like  a funnel to the ear to channel onto the ear canal. there is ear wax in the outer ear it is produced by the ear canal it is there to fight off any diseases and traps dirt that try`s to get into  the ear .

Next is the middle ear it has the big ear drum in it . the fun but a bit gross fact is  the large ear drum is actually just a thin piece of stretched skin . the sound waves that come in the ear move the thin eardrum and that takes us to the finale peace of the ear the inner ear .

The inner ear has three tiny bones called ossicles , the three ossicles bones are called the hammer , anvil and stirrup . then we have the cochlea the cochlea is a big thing that is curled around in to a big bowl shape  ,in it it has tiny hairs and liquid when the liquid is moved around it moves the hairs and they send off sound waves and they travel to the brain where the brain finds out what there are and you here .

It may seem a little bit tricky but it is all worth it if you want to hear .

Do you ever wonder how our eye works ?

First up is the cornea, it is clear like a clean shiny window . The cornea is a defense shield , every blink you take a special liquid product is let out ,  that protects the eye from any germs that try to get into your eyeball .

The bright  light bounces off the thing your looking at  goes through the clear cornea and on to the iris .

Next is the  iris , that is  the coloured circle shape in the  eye . It makes sure how huge the midnight black pupil , gets and how  tiny it gets . The iris comes in a range of colours like blue , green , brown  , hazel , grey , red or amber .

The pupil , is  the midnight black coloured dot in the middle of the eye , it opens and closes to let the light in or keep it out .  

                                           The lens is a clear tiny circle that focus the light onto the back of the eye it can focus on stuff that is close by going thicker and stuff that is far away it goes thinner .

The retina is at the back of the eye , it has cones and rods.

The rods vision see in the dark and  the image in black , white and grey . The cones vision  see colour . cones see three colours red , blue , and green together they help us see so many colours . but cones need more light  to work then rods . There are 120 million rods and 6 to 7 million cones .

The optic nerve is a cord leading to the brain . The  thing your looking at travels on the optic nerve and to the brain .your brain then turn the thing right side up and shows you what it is .  by Lucia Landaus .

hello there this time my post is about my cute cat .

Her name is Gypsy and she is 3 years old shes a Tortiseshell tabby cat .

I met Gypsy at the Oamaru  S.P.C.A where they have cats and kitten everywhere and the are all spayed and neutered  by the people that work there .

We met when I saw these kittens in the window and I remembered  how  I much I really wanted a kitten  after that I begged my parents  to let me have one. On my ninth birthday they said I could have one and I almost cried because I  was so happy . A couple of weeks later we went to have a look they had this lovey cat but we did not take it straight away we cheeked a couple of weeks later we looked on the page and the kitten was gone I was devastated and another week or two we went back and saw her sisters and brothers then a lady said that she would bring the last and smallest kitten out I saw her and looked at mum together we said ” that is the one  ”  we had to wait because she was not ready to go  to surgery  yet  we had to wait and then we got her and I have loved her for ever .  please adopt a cat or kitten from the S.P.C.A now .
